Mindig éltek itt, sokszor huzamosabban, évekig is, amerikaiak, angolok, svédek, orvosok és betegek, akik hozzá jöttek tanulni és gyógyulni. Bécset és Budapestet az ő mozgalmukkal kapcsolatban együtt és egymás mellett emlegették, mint valaha az ókorban Athént és Rómát."

Sandor Ferenczi International Conference 2009 - Buenos Aires
Our next International Sándor Ferenczi Conference will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2009, October 21 to 24. We expect it to be an important event, both as a scientific meeting as well as a great opportunity to gather and exchange ideas in the wonderful milieu of springtime Buenos Aires.
The theme of this meeting is "Introjection, Transference, and the Analyst in the Contemporary World." It is an ample topic, both commemorating Ferenczi’s important 1909 paper, as well as presenting a forum of thought of the present conditions of Psychoanalysis. The interrelatedness of our internal world and external reality is one of the main issues of Psychoanalysis, and we hope that as it has been in each of our meetings, the interchange will provide a rich source of new ideas.
